
Communication and Support Groups
Communication and support groups in English or Spanish are offered twice a month for a 90 minutes period. The communication groups are offered to individuals with a communication disorder and the family member (caregiver, communication partner, etc.).
Post-Stroke Communication Group
Adults with aphasia come together for treatment and communication interactions with other stroke survivors.
Social Skills Group For Children and teenagers with social skills difficulties
Children diagnosed with social/pragmatic difficulties (such as those in the Autism spectrum) have trouble communicating their emotions and recognize the emotions of others, Social skills are crucial with age. What is acceptable behavior from a 4-year-old, is no longer acceptable from a 12-year-old. Learning and establishing appropriate behavior and habits earlier, will avoid issues as your child gets older
Caregivers Support/Communication Group
Providing with opportunities to learn and adjust to living with family members with aphasia, autism or any other communication disorder. The caregivers participate in educational seminars, activities, and opportunities for caregivers to share experiences
